Hormones 3. Adrenaline by Hans Helsen
In Hormones, the advanced orchestra is challenged in many different ways.
In the opening part, the strings make long lines, and an irregular beautiful melody is supported by rich supporting parts.
In the second half of this great concertpiece, Hans Helsen is using more tonal variety. Every player has to be aware of the fingerpatterns used. Also the rhythmical approach brings the orchestra in patterns over the barlines.
Adrenaline is a an exciting piece with which the advanced orchestra is led through a real musicaladventure!
