Pieter van Maldere 1729-1768 was a violinist and composer of the Southern Netherlands.
He worked at the court of Karel Alexander of Latharingen. From 1751 to 1752 he was director of the Philarmonic Concerts in Dublin and he also played in the concerts spirituel of Paris. Later on, he came back to Belgium and worked as the co-director of the opera.
The three movements of this piece bring you back to the early 18th century style Italian Baroque Music on a very playable level!
